Week 3-Thing 7

Ok so I found this website which lets you download a little program for free.

With it you can actually create some cool programs. http://scratch.mit.edu/

This program allows you to create games from scratch and allows students a first look at logic thinking and programming. The neat part about it is that it is presented as a game.

Great website. This will be an amazing unit next year when you are teaching computers! :-)

"Scratch" looks really fun! Thanks for the tip! I'll have to check it out further when I have more time. Might be useful for orientation to the library? I'm looking for a way to jazz up the orientation (wanted to use holographic life-size people, but haven't figured that out yet!) AND I love your avatar...

I will be gone camping until next Saturday, so will not be able to comment on your blog til then. Keep going, though - you're doing great, and I hope you are having fun!
